Refund Policy
This policy explains trials, monthly subscription billing, cancellations, credits, and refund review.
Last updated: May 9, 2026
1. Free trial
Paid plans may include a 14-day free trial during the launch period. If a user cancels before the trial ends, the user will not be charged for the paid plan.
If the user does not cancel before the trial ends, the selected paid plan starts automatically and renews monthly until canceled.
2. Monthly subscriptions
Lite, Standard, and Pro are monthly subscriptions. Prices, included monthly credits, and plan terms are shown before checkout.
Users can cancel or manage billing through the billing management flow when available. Cancellation prevents future renewal but does not automatically refund the current billing period.
3. Credits
Credits are provided for use within the applicable monthly billing period. Unless the product clearly states otherwise, unused credits expire at the end of the billing period, do not roll over, and have no cash value.
Top-up purchases are not part of the initial release. If introduced, top-up expiration and refund terms will be shown before purchase.
4. Refunds
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable after a billing period starts. motpod may review refund requests for duplicate charges, technical billing errors, fraud, or cases required by law.
AI generation quality, source podcast quality, failed user expectations, or unused credits do not automatically qualify for a refund.
5. Failed generation
If a generation fails because of a motpod system error, motpod may avoid charging credits, restore credits, or provide another reasonable remedy. This does not guarantee a cash refund.
6. Contact
Refund and billing questions should be sent through the contact page. Include the account email, plan, charge date, and a short explanation.
