Privacy Policy
This policy explains what motpod collects, why it is used, and which service providers support the product.

1. Information we collect
Account information, such as email address and authentication identifiers, is processed through our authentication provider.
Product information includes podcast URLs, RSS metadata, selected languages, generated summaries, Q&A inputs and outputs, saved podcasts, usage counts, and product settings.
Technical information may include IP address, device and browser information, logs, analytics events, error information, and approximate usage timestamps.
Billing information is processed by Stripe. motpod does not store full card numbers.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide the product, generate summaries and translations, manage accounts, enforce usage limits, process subscriptions, detect abuse, improve reliability, and respond to support or rights-holder requests.
Generated public article pages may use podcast metadata and generated summaries when the content satisfies the public indexing policy.
3. Service providers
motpod uses third-party providers for hosting, authentication, payments, analytics, AI processing, transcription, translation, audio processing, and operational tooling.
Current provider categories include Cloudflare, Clerk, Stripe, Google Analytics, and AI or transcription providers used to generate product output.
4. Cookies and analytics
motpod may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics, fraud prevention, and product operation.
Google Analytics may be used to understand aggregate product usage and improve the service.
5. Retention
Account, billing status, usage, and generated content may be retained while needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or operate public discovery pages.
Generated summaries with no meaningful use may be removed according to motpod's retention policy.
6. Sharing
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the product, process payments, analyze usage, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transfer.
We do not sell payment card data or full podcast transcripts.
7. User choices
Users may request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information where applicable law provides those rights.
Users can cancel paid subscriptions through the billing management flow when available.
8. Security
motpod uses managed infrastructure and service providers, access controls, and reasonable technical measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
9. Children
motpod is not directed to children. Users should not use the service if they are not old enough to form a binding agreement or use online subscription services in their jurisdiction.
